All of JJ's builds are killa, he also uses quirky parts such as the Terrycable cranks on the Ripper above

That's a great build, I like the choice of components.

The coloured tires and rims, non-MX1000 brakes and old-style pads hark back to the bikes SE actually used in their ads.
I prefer it to a Ripper loaded with top-end parts (not that the parts on this one were necessarily cheap, I wouldn't know)

 I had some terry cable cranks with a hadley bottom bracket for a short while... i swapped them for 185mm flights back in the day.

God that is nice. Would never have thought of blue tyres but they work really well. Were those levers designed to be difficult to use? I remember having a set and hitting a fxxxing tree because I couldn't reach the bloody things in a hurry.
