Is it possible. I have a set of forks with a build i am working on and need to retain the original forks but a couple of the threads are shot on the forks. Can they be re threaded  :-\

I took my GT Pro forks to our local bike shop as they had a couple of threads that had stripped,nothing really bad but niticable.They ran the threader over them and job done.Almost as good as new.
