Bizarre...

So, I was out on Friday night and picked up some bikes for restoration from an old friend 'Jon'. We had a beer and get talking about the old days and the events etc.

So, Jon was riding for Custom Riders and was at Livi. He had no bottoms and Dominguez gave him those very ones in the picture.

He also still has them.

Can't believe I missed that.  What a day that would have been to visit Livi.

Ricky, do you remember Graham Stanners (Stan).  I'm sure I remember him telling me that was him crouched in the wee bowl and showing off the pics he took.  Don't know what happened to him, I think he moved to the states.

Yeah that was him.  He also raced a really nice Redline that I'm sure he gave away before moving to the states.

Yeah last i heard he moved to the states he was a strange character sometimes one minute he was a BMXer hanging out with us then he was a skater when his mate Aljo, Davie philips etc came through to the park, do you remember when the council employed someone to kick all the bikes out the park?, Stan would drop his bike and help the parkie to kick us out then pick up his board and start skating!. He also took all of us into the hills outside livi one day to look for "natural jumps" as he put it but we spent most of the time walking through the woods so it was a slightly p****d off bunch that returned to the park that night!. Wonder what he is doing now....
