Is it a Racer or is it a Freestyler?

DXR type cranks without a spider, clip-less pedals, disc brake and mag wheels. Odd.

its a racer, Looks are unimportant. Performance is everything. That's the measure of its success and that's what it will be judged by when a decent pro rider gives it a blast.

It looks like a kids balance bike...

...but I'm really interested in how this rides. I hope it's a success and if it's the future of racing, why not?

Its a prototype, Bob said that on fb, he values all feedback as its working progress. Personally I like the frame design, not sure about the forks, be interested to see how it rides compared to other race bikes out there.

I do like it the more I look at it.  Imagine how much better it would look with a set of carbon bmx spoked wheels.

I doubt a bunch of old people who are still stuck in 1983 are going to appreciate his efforts and forward thinking on this project.  If he knocks out another retro he's going to get flak so he does something cutting edge and he still gets stick.  I like it for what it is, a modern lightweight race bike.     :)
