Anyone on here own any Race Inc stuff? Info required please

Hey dudes,

Have any of you got any Race Inc Frames or bars that are OG anodised finish?

Just wondered if you could take a close look at the anodised finsh for me as I'm getting a frame re-annodised. Does the alloy look very flat/polished/smooth under the anno or does it have a very very fine brushed finish?

Any info or pictures would be very much appreciated fellas

what year RI is it your looking at getting done ?

I've got one in original Anno and also have a 79 Ripper in it's original Anno and both have a different finish which is a little odd seeing as they're the same age and made in the same place 

Both have a smooth finish under the finish though, pm Snav as he also has a RI frame with original finish.

It's a Race Inc RA24 Cruiser so I thinks it's around 1982 fella 

Just trying to determine whether the alloy should be polished to a mirror like finish before anno or whether it should have a very fine satin kinda brushed polish

RA24's were made from 80-83 

I'll have a look at mine but I don't have anything RI that new so the finish could be different 

Dan does an amazing candy blue which is pretty much the same colour as the RI Annod blue,  so that could also be an option

Can I tell from the serial number what year it is then fella?

Yeh I know all about Dan's fabulous paint jobs, he did an amazing job on my 79 Redline Proline so if the anno doesn't work on my RA24 out I'll be giving Dan a call

Hey John  , I've an RA7 and IIRC you can't date them from the serials ( may be wrong though  ) .
