Pump/Play Tracks
« on: July 17, 2012, 09:21 PM »
These seem to be popping up everywhere locally to me. I have a choice of 5 or 6 within 30 mins drive, aswell as 2 regional Race Tracks.

I think the good ones have a real nice rhythm and are great fun to ride while being a little more forgiving than 15' + Trails Doubles, for an old git like me anyway. Anyone got anything similar in there area and what are your thoughts?

This is the latest one to be built, just a few miles from me

Yeah like that, apparently one has been built in the Bournemouth area but i don't know where it is.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

I live on the Wiltshire, Somerset border. The track in the pics is in a town called Frome  :daumenhoch:

Bristol has some good ones. Especially the one in the Stockwood area. Its got doubles, step ups, step downs a hip and wicked tight 180o berms. Plus its all down hill so nice and fast :daumenhoch:. Walking back to the top is a bit of a drag though.  I'll take some pics next time im over that way and if it actually stops raining ::)

Frome had a great track back in the 80's, it was awsome, i loved racing there. Parking was a twat though.

I vaguely remember it, think i only went there once. Back when almost every town had a track and a club  :)
