mk3 holmes update, prince alberts and 1in clamp on set up added

just finished putting my prince alberts (cheers dan ) and 1in clamp on stupid fork set up on my mk3 holmes


before fitted with 1in ditchforks and profiles




the p.a's needed some work to file down a blobby repair weld then off to the powder coaters for some nice fresh black and new decals added






here's the 1in stupid fork set up after being removed from a dirtbike which ive since sold on



also changed the silver ad990 for a black one


and now all fitted

well happy with the cranks dan cheers again for sorting them for me

glad this bike is finally finished and is how i really wanted it (may change the seat later)

just gotta finish off the zima (pedals & rear hub) then im gonna take a break from building

lovely set up mate, really like the 1" threadless set up, will eventually get the same threadles set up for my condor

Looking good.  I ran an almost identical setup on my MK3 Holmes BITD just before I sold it and bought my Bennett. I remember by Dad collecting the forks from the post office for me. First words he says when he walks in the door "I thought these forks were called stupid forks?".

ive cleaned the pics up so they look a little better, it will be used but just for crusing around on and ill be careful not too put too much pressure on the crank arms, no dropping off or jumping up kerbs etc... you no what p.a's are like
