Fave skateparks

:D Today's over excited noob thread:

Fave skateparks that you've ridden, where's good & why?

I ain't been to that many, but have been out & about round Wigan & Warrington these past 2 months since my rebirth, trying to drop in off most things I can ride up, and constantly tryna get above the coping.

My Public / Free Top 3

1: Cadishead: Wooden, spacious, nice variety. Was there today for the first time. Love it! Just wish the highest 1/4 section was wider.

2: Victoria (Vici) Park: Big, concrete & scary ::), closest thing I've ridden to the big US parks / Livingstone / Rom that you always see in mags & vids.

3: Alexandra (Ali) Park: Metal, nice variety, & seen some very sick riders there.

Not far behind Newton-Le-Willows, very spacious, metal, lacks variety, but a nice high 1/4. Usually some barking sheep dogs trying to round me up, always seems to be windy and generally lacks a bit of  atmosphere.

My Indoor / Pay Top 1: (only 1 I've been to :-[)

1: Ramp City: Only been once (on a Rad lock in), but it's ace. Big, wooden, variety, and best transitions I've ridden.

 :)

Hoping to ride Southsea this summer, & Irlam keeps calling too, RampWorx & Bones are also on the list to visit...

Southsea
Bones

But TBH the best park can be a stack of pallets with a plank on it, with the right group of friends riding.

I have to say Rom. If only they'd rip all that wooden shit out it.

Visited Irlam on Saturday, a new fave for me.

Spacious outdoor wooden park, with a 30 ft long 6ft 1/2 bank. :D Nice variety of 4/5/6 ft 1/4s, a bit worn in places but great fun. :)
