What do you ride on your drives? Im tied between 2 at the moment, not sure which to get. I want something that will last but take a good hammering.

The Cult chain is decent for the money.

I run a KHE halflink and it's been perfect.

Aside from that, all the traditional brand names make a decent chain.

only half link chain worth having in my opinion is the shadow v2 chains :daumenhoch:

if u want old school appeal then look at kmc kool chains or even the superlight chain, which is surprisingly strong considering how light it is

Izumi and raced the other season on a gold kmc.
Had no problems with either.

KMC 510's, no issues with these.
I might go for a more 'high end' on the daily ride as it does a few miles, not sure what to get though either.  ;D
I think KMC do a Ti one but it's listed for 10 speed MTB's, so I guess that's out. Anyone tied one on a single speed?

Odyssey Bluebird (KMC510HX with a half link on the end) or just get a standard KMC 510HX, but make sure it's the 'HX'

or get an Izumi Super Tough track chain, they are hard as fook. :daumenhoch:
"Thanks for the Fish Fingers idea... I'm fooking loaded now!!!"

KMC all the way, I think you will find that they make many a chain for the big brands anyway so might as well buy there own stuff.

Apologies for being slightly off topic, but while stripping down my newly acquired Hoffman D130 I noticed that the chain was huge.

It has Sachs and 415 stamped on the links, does anyone have an idea of what it is as I have never seen a bike chain of this size?
