Thanks Robbo. Your old one is definitely one of the best looking Riot builds Ive seen. If mine ends up looking as good as your I will be really pleased.

Cheers Darren. The chrome isn't as good as it looks in the pics, but it did polish up better then I expected. Im going to see if I can get my hands on some of this Peek stuff everyone talks about and see how it comes up with that.

Well the Riot is finally complete so I managed to get it out and shoot some pics of it today. I must say I big thanks to Dan Harris as without him I wouldn't have been able to build this bike, let alone finish it off exactly how I wanted. Dan really is an asset to the Rad BMX community.

Looks really nice, and the coloured doors in the back ground compliment the colour scheme of the bike perfectly.

Thanks everyone. I drive past those garage doors on my way to work every day, so when I was looking at the finished bike and thinking of a place to take some pics it just popped into my head. Glad you guys like how the pics turned out.

This looks stunning.
It brings back mixed emotions to me. My one lasted 3 days before the rear end cracked at the dropouts.

Not many about now for that reason. But plenty good enough for ride down the pub on.

Yes they had front ends built like tanks and rear ends made of pencils!

Definitely not ideal when you spend all your hard earned money on one. Fortunately this one survived and has now retired to a life of sitting on a stand looking pretty, so not going to be ridden any time soon.

The rear end would have been ok. If the had welded more of the stay to the dropout. On one side (the non coaster brake mount side) there is only about 4mm length of weld holding the seat stay.

Absolutely bonkers.

It's still to painful to talk about!

A pic of my WAL in the mid school line up at MK12. I came to collect my bike after the show and was stoked to see I had received a "highly commended" medal for the bike.
