This hobby has got expensive for all parts across the board , not just the rarer stuff.

Because of greedy people who buy stuff just to sell it on at a hugely inflated price .    


I know this goes on in all aspects of life ,,, but a lot of the time the people moaning about the price are guilty of doing exactly that

( Not meaning you Stu ,either mate )



It seems to be coming up a fair bit lately , about people being bothered about others opinions   ,,,and we keep saying , It's YOUR bike you do what you like  

Only time you should get critisced for your efforts (as I mentioned regarding my Quad in my earlier post ) is when you enter a comp whether at MK or in BOTM    

Not good to hear ,, but you've got to expect varied opinions  I suppose if presenting your efforts  up for judgement

While there will always be profiteers and people who make a living selling this stuff, you also have to acknowledge that the scene has grown massively too. You only have to look at the recent thread with the initial Alans event in 04 to MK as it is today.

More people buy more parts, which leaves various items thin on the ground, rare or not, meaning hugely inflated prices.

For me there are some parts that have to be right but others I am not bothered about. It has proved harder building a survivor than a shiny clean bike. It is all about the chase of the parts for me. But I will never do four at once again. Headache almighty.
