you only need to change the axles, bearings are the same size in the 10mm & 14mm hubs, even both the axles outer diameter is the same (20mm) just one is drilled for 10mm and one is drilled for 14mm

(have a 10mm hub here and a spare 14mm axle so know they fit)

unfortunately ive not seen anywhere that stock 10mm axles, only 14mm ones and even those are getting thin on the ground now

you will prob be best off selling them on and try to buy some 10mm ones (im hunting for a 10mm front)

downside to selling them on is they arent worth much, roughly £20 per hub for the homers, even the original fat shaft mk1's i had only sold for £70 (should have kept em)

good luck and please dont grind the dropouts out

just had a thought, you may be able to get them helicoiled to take a 10mm bolt :daumenhoch:

or grind down the bolts to 10mm just near the head in the dropout area allowing you to just slide the wheel in and nip it up :daumenhoch:

If you going to do this use a lathe and make sure its turned down evenly. If the bolt is ground even 1mm off centre at the dropout your wheel will sit as much as 3mm skew in the fork. Less accuracy obviously leads to bigger issues. My sport had a poor grind job on the axles (by the previous owner) and as a result the wheels point in all directions now. Do it properly on a lathe and it will be worth it.

Yep - nigh on impossible to find the 3/8" axles - George doesn't have any left either :(

Helicoiling them is an option, but from experience they get a bit wobbly going from 14mm to 3/8" - if ya do get a couple machined, put my name down for a front and rear n'all fella  :daumenhoch:
