Who is the cheapest international courier
« on: June 13, 2012, 06:47 PM »
It looks like I am going to have to send some cranks to Japan. Who is the best courier to use? Many thanks in advance. Nath

http://www.p4d.co.uk/

Cheaper than Parcel2Go - their generic own courier (which is normally FedEx but waaay cheaper) is fully tracked - sent some hubs to the States the other day for £23 insured to £250 and they arrived in 24 hours :)

how do you select a higher insurance value as when i do a quote it just comes up with the services prices and no option to increase value. or do you only get that option once you start booking the service

Yep - once you start popping in delivery details etc you can increase the cover (before you commit to buying the service). Always check both p4d and Parcel2go though as the cheapest schizz varies depending on item destination (ie, P4D is cheaper to send to the US than P"Go etc).
