Ahhh I know what you mean :),


I don't think there is a difference in the actual seat itself, just that one had a Lightning bolt transfer and one did'nt  :-\.

im pretty sure these are being turned out in the far east, read a couple of posts about fakes on the museum but noone was specific as to discrepancies

but the general concensus from replies on here was, that they're not being reproduced and they are all old stock from the Far east  ::)  :)

I'm not sure that the conspiracy site is a good reference point for fakes; too many arseholes opinions and not enough facts imho  :D.

I bought one of the black ones from HK about 5 years ago.  I compared it with an original 80's one and it was exactly the same.  If mine was a repop, they must have used the original moulds.   :-\

I don't know if there's a new batch of seats knocking about - if Babelovely etc. is involved, I'd avoid like the plague...
