Whats your holy grail?
« on: September 01, 2005, 03:41 PM »
This has prob been posted before, but im just curious as people ultimately have different wants.

I personally would love a JMC black shadow F/F
And also BITD i had a pair of robinson pro bars built by VDC that had a wider body and higher cross bar, i have not seen anything similar since other than the pair on the original VDC advert with the Changa F/F on, i presume the monkey bars replaced them. :)

My own Holy Grail? CW Phaze 1 in deep red, Cook Bros cranks, and various other trick parts. With a nice zeronine plate and the Gear or even Max kit. (Got the CW Echo lid already). Only just got into the Old School collector scene, but gonna give this shot  ;D

Mine would be a pair of GT's like I had BITD:

1) An '83 Pro with Redline 400's - my old race bike
2) An '84 Pro Performer with Skyways etc. - my old street bike

Sadly I don't think I have the time or cash at the moment to make it a reality, but I suppose they aren't too unobtainable  ;)

This is mine:

This is the bike that I did the 1983 European Skyway Tour on, except that it had Bob Haro Vector bars on it and a campy front graphite.

I have the f/f and 401 flights, a set of vector bars, red dx pedals, blue and red mx 1000`s, but need a campy front graphite, rear alloy hubbed coaster, seat and seat post and red power disc, can anybody help ?
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

I'd like a mint Raleigh Team Aero Pro Burner like I had when I was younger. Probably one of the most under rated bikes ever.

Although bitd I always wanted a loaded Kuwahara Laserlite, I suppose the one I own now is my holy grail!!
