A 10mm wheel into a 14mm fork yes?

Most people call them wheel adaptors or words similar.

Stodgy has them in the shop.

no all 10 mm bro. they just take up the bit of slack that is in the fork cut out so the axle dos not sit on the upper edge of the metal!

i know what a 10 -14mm adapter is. im not that dumb!  :LolLolLolLol:

Sorrrrrryyyyyyyyy..............................  :-[

However, the thing you're talking about doesn't exist. The axle does just sit right up there metal to metal in the fork dropout.

Unless you mean the hooked washer deal that comes on some new bikes, a washer with an 'ear' on it that sits in a small hole in the dropout?

Everyone I know throws them straight in the bin mate.

I'd say again, give Stodgy a call, he must have a few knocking about.

He's open Tomorrow and Tuesday.

Bendy - you know the thing. It's a wheel washer, teardrop shaped and on the end it has a little bit bent over that sits in a hole in the fork dropout. Always come on cheap complete bikes of all types.

no not that sHite... :LolLolLolLol:

i hate them + the fork has no hole. its the other type. imagine a thick washer with a second small lip. the lip fits inside the cut out to centre the middle of the hub directly in the centre of the cutout slot/hole  in the fork !

You can make your own-I did.  Spacers on Skyway axles.   Just cut them to size.

See now, this is why I don't mess about with old stuff.

Never seen 'em, definitely never used 'em. And I've been involved since '82.

The washer is like what you use to boost your axle to a 10-14m axle but it sits in the frame drop out securing it in place like a top hat washer.
