i'm sure it was on here on how to apply decals wet to a frame. has anyone go the link readily availible please

plus is it best to do it to a bare from or a built up bmx. it's only on a quadangle so no real big decal's apart from the forks

soapy water :daumenhoch:

i presume the decals just dry in place then, but doesn't it effect there adhesive backings.

The soap allows you to move the decals into the right place and is quite forgiving. Dry off excess water in place and allow to dry naturally. Worked for me every time. But like most things there are probably 100 other ways :daumenhoch:

best to do it once the bike is built, that way there is less chance of damaging the decals

remember to make sure you clean where the decals will sit really well, you dont wanna fit them then see a finger print underneath em :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

my frame and forks should be back from SBD this week and i've already got the decals from del, but i'm waiting on a few parts before i can build her up.

you right i don't want any grubby finger prints under them.

had some spare time to put the decals on today. i got everything ready as in the thread on how to apply decals by wetting them.

got the decals from del. i wanted all chrome effect

i started on the landing gear decal, and what a bother i had. the individual letters wouldn't stick down. nightmare :(

so the rest i measured up and applied dry.

How do I contact 'del' for decals, I'm new on here and don't fully understand the massage board except for forum basics and opening links, a link to Del would be great, thanks, your bike looks mint
