Been round it and survived*

That track is scary quick and lippy.  I can see the more able than me doing special things on it.  I am just happy to roll round much faster than I'm am comfortable with.   The start hill is rediculously high to me and the way it dips before the first jump freaks me out.
Maybe tomorrow in practice I will stop bottling it and go for it.......but then maybe not

* hand on the brake all up the first straight

It's a classic Clark and Kent build - really nice after the scary first straight and not a track for pedalling. The starthill feels a bit faster than Man indoor with an extra dip at the bottom (while still heading downhill) before you hit a long low double that would be easy if your bike hadn't been unweighted by the dip. Last straight is almost exactly the same as Manc indoor - 2nd and 3rd straights are nice with plenty of flow. 2nd berm seems to have too much flat before the banking starts and is slippy on the inside. Beautiful polished alloy bensink gate with spot-on speed.

Plenty of Radsters there - lots of people not cheating and using flat pedals :daumenhoch:

Yes but the Brits (and other sensible European countries) actually have a disadvantage in that the younger kids so rarely get to use them compared to the USA. However when it comes to skill levels both the UK and USA riders are well behind many of the Euro riders across all ages (myself included :-[ ) , although we have plenty of quick and/or big strong riders.
