I've not really been on much over the past few days - computer issues. Had to buy a new laptop and re-install everything. This arrived on Saturday morning, just in time for the Blackpool ride. The same type of helmet I had as a kid. An ebay bargain - 99p!!

..and it fits!

On Monday I purchased some brake pads because mine just gave up. The store I bought them at, told me they were £5 per piece. So I bought four of them and today I found this in my letterbox.

They answer to the name of "Rubber Dubber"

Never thought I'd see a complete set, last ones come up in Germany some years back. The guy sold them individually, I ended up with the frame pad only, luckily that was enough for steve to do his magic. Today though these lovelys arrived.
Got a few additional rare bits to go on the national pro long this year.

Just an hour ago I bought this nice little rider. I hope it will ride as good as looks like. It may arrive on Monday will be build up on Thuesday and Wednesday and depending on the weather, first riding reviews can be expected on Thursday.
If I don't mess it up!

I've been picking up some parts over in the States, and have just pulled the trigger on this Addicks spider:-

Always fancied one of these, now I just have to find a chainring to match!

I don't know how it rides, it is still on it's way to me. Then I have to put it back together. ...and if I don't mess up this part of the process, I will let know.

They're quite a find! I'd be loathed to open the original packaging though....

It took me an age to get hold of my original blue set, and they were from the original owner of my National Pro so I just had to keep chipping away at him until he agreed to the sale.

Look forward to seeing these on your build.

Just snagged these... supposedly OG 80's and NOS.

At 20nuggets they seem too good to be true, but we shall see! Big Trev used to race with these so I have been keeping an eye out for a set.
