Mike was running Dan Gurney racing when he signed the OM up race for them, when the team folded Scot started "Scot Enterprises" (post FMF) and had Mike there as promotions. Late 70's the Industries brand was created, now Mike became full time for SE racing in 1980 when the manufacturing went in-house and the Industries brand was open to the masses, there were plenty of Quads made that had the "Industries" decal on the seat mast from 80-83 ish...So yes it's perfect for a pre 80 build but also looks great on an early Quad. I'm pretty sure they were never put on Rippers only Quads and maybe OM Flyers But don't quote me on any of this as I'm certainly no expert
