Short of using one of those fibre disc things has anyone got an ideas on removing what is probably emulsion paint from a frame?
Tried paint stripper and a blow torch and its not touched it  :shocked:

Emulsion paint reacts with wallpaper paste.  I know this as I tried to paint over some walls that had small traces of paste on there and it made a right mess.  Had to buy some expensive sealing product to get over it.   :rant: 

If you have some knocking around, mix up a batch and slap it on the frame and see if it works - leave as long as possible.  Has to be worth a shot IMO.   :daumenhoch:
