Frame advice sought
« on: May 11, 2012, 08:51 PM »
Happily the frame is now stripped of parts, I need to buy a few bits and bobs including a front wheel chainring, pedals  and seatpost, (will have a look in the classifieds for those) Question now is what do I do with it now.
Theres quite a lot of scratches which are now rusty the decals are also damaged, I could get the frame blasted and the paint it however it appears that decals for a Standard are not readily available and I do like to have a genuine looking bike. The other option would be to tidy it up as far as possible then laqueur the whole lot.
Anyone got any bright ideas? Is there a source of decals for this bike, has anyone managed to tidy up a bike in similar condition,(am not looking to restore to show condition btw)
Thanks
