I was thinking a TNT stem. I really wanted a paintable lengthy but the frames are so hard to come by now days. I had a green one I got from mat Jenkins back in the day. It was my Fave bike along with a chrome taj I had now I got one of each :) still need some forks if you know where any may be!!!!! I think you got em all lol

Was watching this but Ive got too many builds on the go to be buying any more right now. Looks lovely. If I were building it Id put a DK inverted stem on it.  :)

There's some 1" threaded Standard forks over at the Museum for $55 - they've had the drops opened to 14mm though - easy fix then rechrome/paint:

Auburn will ship to the UK as well.

1" Standards are things dreams are made of.
Look forward to seeing it complete Bert as Harris's are stunning.

Love them mid-school standing platform frames.

i still have my 1" standard lengthy frame in my shed, top and downtube are cracked. i rode that bike for 10 years before it cracked, still got the receipt for it too. i have some 6 pc strip bars too but they are cut down about half inch either side.

Ten years is a good purchase I'd say. Are the bars for sale ?

just remembered i also have a set of 1" gsport prong forks with a gsport nimrod stem all in black, forks need painting though. it's a 1" threadless setup and i also have a green rear gsport hub, still smooth but needs bolts. profile crank bolts fit them though. let me know if any of this would be any use to you and i'll dig them out tomorrow and get some pics.

If bmxbert doesn't want the hub I could be interested :daumenhoch: and maybe the forks and stem depending what year they're from ;)

finally dug out the parts from my shed. the bars have been cut down to 24" but the chrome is still really good, i also have a dia compe tech 99 l/h lever to fit the oversize bar. i had drilled a 10mm hole in the forks to fit my reaction megabrake as i didn't like the canti brake i used to use and the stem has 2 bolts missing but i just tried bolts from a dk stem which fit so shouldn't be hard to get hold off. i also have the top part of a 1"threadless headset so you could just use parts from any 1"headset to fit it. and the gsport hub just needs bolts but i've used profile bolts in the past which fit perfectly, i'm sure their 26tpi the same as a 3/8" axle.
