Yeah I suppose every bar is a tad ambitious...!  :D

Ok, what bars were used by the Torker team during 1980 - 1981...?

Well, most likely contenders would be alloy Torker bars, possibly Redline V Bars and may GT bars.  Maybe have a look at some of the early PDF's of BMX Action and BMX Plus available at www.oldschoolmags.com  ;).  Sometimes it's very satisfying to do your own research  :daumenhoch:.

Im not that lazy Mart...!!!  :D

Not sure if they had the Torker bars then... ???

I was wondering how difficult it would be to source VDC V's...

Ive looked at my issues of BMX Plus! but there's nothing about what the team used.

Ill check out that site...cheers  :daumenhoch:

Eddy used gold alloy Torker v-bars on his 1980 ride.Clint used  Cooks Bros,Jason- laguna alloy mini v's. Maxflytes & Torkflytes also both had Torker alloy bars when bought from Torker ,I think the Everything Bicycles Torker completes had Race incs though. :daumenhoch:

But you're not building this as a to-spec complete or rider tribute bike anyways Rich.If you wanna go w/the v-bars,Redlines,Race inc,Tuf-neck,VDC or FMF bars will look just as cool on this build & there's plenty to choose from if you want bars w/a straight crossbar or maybe go for something a bit different like CBR or Thruster power bars (both easier to find than Torker v bars but still rare)  :daumenhoch:
