Peregrine super pro resto help!
« on: April 30, 2012, 08:34 PM »
Right got myself a very good priced set of peregrine super pros the front is in really good condition but the back has seen better days! Lol, so I'm going to chuck a bucket of money at them and get them re chromed, I've seem kevs that where done by hockley for around £80 and you could still see pitting etc, I don't mind paying more for a better job but do you guys know of anywhere that get good results?

It's a problem to every chromer I believe - chroming Ally is a bollockache apparently.

For what it's worth, I've had some forks done at Hockley recently and the work was top notch. couldn't fault it. Chromoly though, not ally.

If you want show winning, concourse, I'm the bollocks look at me chrome, then I believe London Chrome is big in the custom car world. Big money for top work I think. No experience myself though.

olly have u checked out silvabroz in alton yet?

like i said before they will triple plate em and they are a motorbike and classic car show chromer so u will get a good job but at a price

also the pics of mine done by hockley look worse because of the flash, come and have a look at them in the flesh and see what there like a few years since they were rechromed and see what u think
