those god damn awful cobra grips on my viceroy,they were hard as bullets and i couldnt get my little mits around them,think i stuck mushies on instead then followed by snide star bars

Went to the the local shop and bought an Ice Lolly ate in mega fast and got brain freeze

Used the stick and 1/2 a roll of tape to stick in on my rear drop out to make a "clackin noise"

first mod was fitting brakes, as my scorpion exploder only came with a coaster....

my only bmx BITD was an 82 silverfox

first 'mod' was to remove the reflectors - then I could start riding it

not sure of the exact order of bits that went on it after, but here's my best guess

swapped the crap grips for black sharps

put a gt layback on it
stripped the downtube, seat tube and headset decals off it
then a suntour headlock and seat clamp
sharp bb boot
zeronine stadium plate
black z-rims

did toy with some 'chrome' zap pads but they didn't stay on for long

Mum bought me a puch.. Chain guard and reflectors off and decals. Thinking of it, we all took our decals off and nothing to do with sh@t bikes? Even though my puch was pretty crap..!

The exact opposite.

First bike was a 79 Redline MX2, got it home and took the caliper brakes off and left the coaster

Falcon Pro Zeta. the first mod was with Nitromors getting rid of the Black of the Rims. The first part addition was trick Nuts from the DP Factory

closely followed by a Potts mod

my first bmx was a cheap £79 metalic blue BMX (no other name on it ) with cool chrome front forks. first thing to change was the brakes as i broke them on the way home

my mum took it straight back to the shop an gave out at them for selling shoddy bikes they gave her £20 back so i could go and buy new brakes for it

. went off then and bought mx copies mushroom copies and lots of sweets

. the chain gard was taken off and the brackets cut off with a junior hacksaw . although the bike was cheap i loved it and wish i had kept it. i gave it to a mate whos dad rebuilt it with a side hack (wish i had pics ) it was well cool .

First bike was a Blue Burner, christmas 82 , first thing was to race it at Bunneys (Bulwel) just after new year so removing the front brake (save weight

) and the paper plate were first mods i guess swiftly followed by a change of gearing as standard with its big metal chainguard was something like a 48:16 lol must of swapped the rear lever over sometime soon after as i ALWAYS have the rear brake on the right now

My first mod was a yellow number plate with a Sheene-esque 7 on , swiftly followed by some coaster spokes to replace those heavy as fook god awful yellow Lester mags
