Haro master colours
« on: April 08, 2012, 10:35 AM »
Advise needed please. I have just stripped the powder coat off my 85 master because it was fooked and was going to get it done in the original white as the bike was a white and blue combo when i began to think i might do some thing different maybe yellow and blue as i have the blue zeds and brakes that came off it or i quite fancy a black and gold combo what do you chaps think.  :daumenhoch:

The purist amongst members only like things to look the way they were intended - which is cool and there way  8)

but it is also your bike to do with what you like  ;)

you have to things to think about here - will every one like it (of which you have to ask yourself do you care ?) and will it be easy to sell if you want to give it up ?

some times doing a build a different colour can work if thought out well - but some times it just doesn't work

have a look at all the other Masters on museum and see what works and what doesn't - some times it's just just a couple of parts from working or just the wrong shade to make it work

at the end of the day it's your bike - you don't have to rush into it - take a little time to think colours out - it will change each time when you do more searching

cheers B  ;)

Your bike though mate, so whatever tickles your fancy.

I reckon some of the nicest stuff on here recently has been the non standard stuff, like that mad orange Trickstar!

Quad's only whining because it's a Haro  :LolLolLolLol:

The '85 Master came in Chrome, White, Blue or Green, it's your bike and and Bendy says  it's up to you what colour to do it and it doesn't have to be a factory colour ;).
