Come on mr Sunday. The stem position makes no difference to the gyro.
The top gyro plate is under the fork nut. So it's position can't be changed. And the bottom plate is under the cup. So the gyro is in a fixed position on this bike. On the later 1"1/8 th version the top plate could be spaced out higher with shims to allow more travel.  :daumenhoch: ;D

cool, i never even noticed that,
with so little travel how does the brake even work?

even more convinced now that the threaded headset was the work of the devil,

nice resto though, and the pics are better,

The brake works sweet!

I can lower the stem, but don't really want to, I put it that high so it was more comfortable to ride.

Original Stem bought from Pkripster, stripped by me and powdered by SBD. I polished the lettering up!

Now just need these bars:-

And after I get these I will sell the Kneesavers.

Picked up Haro Freestyle bars from SBD today, nice powdercoating job indeed, think I can consider this build finished now.

Did you have to sell it to fund the Wal, or didn't you want  to justify two bikes to yourself?

I only knew of the Extension and the Sport but thought Ed wanted to sell the Sport to get the Wal.

the Sport had to go as I had my Supercross as a rider... and I have 2 very similar green bikes.

Then I stripped the Supercross  ::) so had no green bikes  :)

Now I have my beautiful WAL thats nearly finished, my Supercross ( done as a 91 Master ) to ride and a DP in progress ... plus a couple of other things  8)

...all you need for your Edge is a nice pair of rider Haro tyres  :daumenhoch: do you know anyone who has some? we know someone don't we Olly  8)
