Did these come with tan walls when new, I can't remember, would it look bad to put black tyres on it?

Haro tyres would be good but prob cost loads and maybe to hard to find, want to spend as little as possible really. Just want it to look like it did in 1991. Im using a oddy pitbull on the rear which wasnt standard so the tyres dont have to be indentical.

If you are on a budget and just want the look you could go for these

Check Porkchop and see what he has, don't think he has any black comp ST's though

be careful with the new school tanwall primo v monsters, any more than the recommended 65 psi max pressure and the sidewalls start to bulge quite badly, i returned 2 sets because of this and know other people who have too

when you spin the wheel the tyre makes it look like the wheel is buckled :'( :'(

Ordered them now, but will bear that in mind! prob have to mock fit them to my other bike when I get them as I don't have wheels for the Edge yet.

Cheers for the heads up!

The colour looks a bit yellowy on these pics but in the flesh it's spot on match for the original day glow yellow, just waiting for the bottom gyro part and original bearing cups to come back from the painters, scared about banging those into this nice frame though!

Groove BMX are going to lace my NOS Araya's everything else is powdered and ready, just need a straight seatpost now.

£60 inc paint.

They are just off Edinburgh Way near the VW garage.

Had the forks,Pitbull, front brake, Tech 77's, Fusion Stem, Gyro, Bearing cups, and seatclamp powdered in black and it's a fookin good finish, £25 for that lot. They also powdered my mates zippo and forks and stem at the same time and that's mint too.
