I imagine the wheel is fine to ride as it is now. Any repair will never be as strong as the original so its all about cosmetics to a large degree. I have used a metal araldite in the past on my car with good results. It files and looks like metal and seems pretty strong.

I would be tempted to add a mechanical element, if the replacement piece allows, by filing a v shaped joint or something similar on the two ends to be joined. If the new piece will hold itself in without any glue then there is less stress on the glue  :daumenhoch:

That is great info and just the sort i'm looking for  :daumenhoch: top boy  ;)

also has any one seen a set of highly polished set of motomags - i'm just curious

it's just i want the mags to look a bit brighter and shinny but not too much

any one know what will happen if i put them into acid oxide ? will it clean them up of dark spots - will it just dull them down - will it eat it ? ???

the webbing is only there originally to stop kids putting their hands in the wheels, the motomags run ok with all the webbing removed and just the main spokes remaining.
