Looks to have a flat plate behind the seatpost, so not a Standard Shorty.

Arent these a copy of the standard shorty frames? Almost bought one, regret not buying now, they look great with the proper decals on

Yeah Jaymz - they're from around 1996/97 - those ones are full chromo, and pretty much a Shorty copy. Main difference is the flat plate behind the seattube/seatstays junction.

Got someone on here a while back a NOS one (frame only) from Billys. There's some later one's that look the same but without the Standard style gusset that are deffo Taiwan made. These ones should be made in Germany (as Heavy Tools was pretty much the budget wing of KHE I think).

The KHE link was part of the reason I fancied one, as I like some german engineering [KHE & Dragonfly]

There was a heavy tools screamer on ebay recently for £300 which made me think about selling mine. ;)
