i still have a few of my old bikes from bitd. just finished restoreing my meteor-lite freestyler and almost finished my team murray (still waiting on the lester mags to come back)
i still have 9 others to do. i never had any high end bikes only cheapies but still had great fun on every one of them
( Oh my dad used to work for the council he was forman at a transfer station so any bmx bikes that came in to be dumped he would bring them home thats how i had so many . the team murray was actualy a stolen bike that was given to my dad by the police no one had claimed it so it was to be dumped ) both my brothers still have there burners one is a mk2 chrome burner the other is a mk1 burner red n yellow one but he only has the frame left dont know why but we just never threw them away now 30 odd years later i am restoreing them (slowley)
and to make matters worse i have bought more

Got my Nov 83 GT Standard. Bought Doncaster (long drive, was on offer) June 84. Tarted up now, BITD had SR one-pieces, Suntour beartraps, DB bars, Mirage plate. Now has blue Uni Turbo. Got the original pad set. Some nob Hammerited it red then black in the late 80s, then paid a small fortune for rechroming a few years ago. Still got the cat too.
