What an absolute load of shit that was, I mean really really poor
Figured I should watch it at some point having missed it as a teenager

Pretty sure even teenage me would have thought the same thing

Apologies if that offends anyone

On the plus side also watched Joe Kid on a stingray again and that was ace. Even mrs griff thought it was good

Will have to watch RAD at some point, I really hope it's worth it

Did you notice their pedals vanished on the water slide and then miraculously appeared again.

All of the above. Joe kid is ace, you've made me want to watch it tonight.

Nicole Kidman can s*ck my hairy bean bag.

No, seriously Nicole if you're reading...

It's a kids film from the early 80's...what did you expect?

It is the same with any film or programme, if you missed it first time round or the start if it is a series and try to get in later on you seem to completely miss the point or humour.

Perfect examples are BMX Bandits (it really is a shit film), The Office (absolutely shit in all ways), Mrs Browns Boys (seriously this is even worse than The Office).

Haha! You have to watch with a seriously old school anorak hat on! Try Gleaming the Cube also - I know it's a skate film but it's probably the best of the genre...

Joe kid , quality.
Rad I watched with my oldest daughter a couple of year back when she was 10.
Got to admit we both loved it. Even with the lashings of old 80's cheese.
I've still got to do BMX bandits though, I've been putting it off because it's one I did see as a kid but have forgotten.
I do vaguely remember it been on one Easter and remember not feeling too impressed even back then.

It was a 'cash in' movie to go with the whole BMX craze back in the 80s mate....yes it was shyte but remember back then there was no youtube or even videos(not for us poor kids anyway) so it was all very exciting to see the thing we loved on the big screen. In this sense I think we hold it dear, like Rad and ET because it was a moment when the world was recoginsing the thing that was 'ours'. :daumenhoch:

I'm going put Joe Kidd again today not seen it in a while and its bloody ace :4_17_5:

ET is still ace, kids' film or not
And so is Joe Kid, mrs griff even watched the extra features with me as she thought Bob Osborn was hilarious

Bandits like Ant said was a shameless cash in, like the movie equivalent of that piss poor record about BMX boys having a lot of fun

Don't get me started on Mrs Brown's boys  :teef:

Bmx bandits was shite back then but....we didn't watch it for the mivie. We were starry eyed kids that just wanted to see bmx bikes and tricks, and there were a few on there, not adults and kids acting. The blow up bikes being used on the water shutes are piss poor but, did you really notice that back then?

These were kids movies being aired by kids back when we didn't have CGI or an 'i' collection.

I feel like Sean, if you missed it back then, you have missed what it was meant acheive.
