of late we have had a few parasites taking the fun and love out of BMX with buying stuff very cheap ~ sob story from one guy and then a day later he puts it all on ebay for a well high price and we find out he didn't need it for a build but just rinsing the scene 

well done for coming on here and not blowing up - that is when the fun starts and peeps feed the fire 

good luck with sale - it might not be worth £500 though

So now we have all made friends maybe you you can help me with my build, I have some questions I need answering
Im building a Raleigh R4000, and as a newbie I'm a little stuck on a couple of things
 on the only original spec sheets i have looked at they are a bit vague on some items

a) Seat, just says blue aero, Will a Viscount aero be ok ? could do with not spending a fortune on a Kashimax !!

b) Im re furbing a set of araya aero's, Im changing them from gold to blue anodised, what hubs shall i use ? sun tour or suzui

See attached photo of project so far (the stem and seat clamp will be anodised blue as well)

look for a guy called glyn, he is THE font of all knowledge on US Raleigh frames. He is on here too, but doubtful he will look in the therad unless you mark it up as Raleigh related

As Jaymz said Lee, look for Glynnyboy on here or BW, he's a real officianado on Raleigh Racing bikes, he's built some stormers.

As for building yours, would you consider a repop Kashi Aero, a fraction of the cost of an original.?
