Was that shape Tuf Neck stem available in 1979?  Pretty sure they didn't come out until 1980...

That stem is actually an '83 model but as it's NOS, I got it dirt cheap and I wasn't keeping the bike full '79 spec, I'm not too fussed to be honest  :LolLolLolLol:  I have been offered a trade for a NOS gen one Tuf Neck but much prefer the look of this one  :coolsmiley:

Griff, I have a NOS Stainless Steel KMC chain for it and I know if I put it on, I will ride it, and my mate will crucify me for putting brake rub on the Ukai  :2gunsfiring_v1:  :crazy2:  :D
