1983 Supergoose
« on: March 24, 2012, 08:21 PM »
Started out with this a few weeks ago. Wanted a nice rider something I don't mind getting dirty.

Found this on here in the sale section it's a USA spec frame larger tubing? And it's a supergoose 3.
Had a few Spares knocking about so spec is-

Jt bars
Mongoose repro grips
Tech5 lever
Suntour stem
Gt layback
Viscount seat
Suntour seat clamp
odyssey bb
Takagi crank
Shimano pedals
DNA U brake plate
Ad 990 U brake
Alloy hubbed tuff II

Bike rides so well and stop very good with the uprated set up. Maybe not to everyone's liking but it's different.

Thanks for looking.
3 more mongooses to finish now.  :LolLolLolLol:

I agree  :daumenhoch: but that's a supergoose 3, no? So that'd make it 1983  :)

I love it!

Please let me know if you ever tire of it as I'm not sure I'm ever going to be able to get the stuck seatpost/iron bar out of my US Supergoose.

Think this is one of the best looking bikes I've seen on here in ages, never been a fan of pads tho  :-\

I love a Supergoose and like having pads on my bikes, I used pads made by Steve with print to match the decals.

That's the Californian pad set tho ;)
Super never came with pads from memory. But they did do the flight pads around this year.

I'm not sure about that mate John is the right person to ask about if they came with pads or not. Mine's an Ammaco UK model, so may have been different spec wise again.

Nice :daumenhoch:
Padset doesn't seem to suit as much as retrodans. Maybe try some plain black pads or turn yours inside out to see :)
