I just don't understand why you have to 'slam' the seat, in my opinion it spoils the whole look of the NS bikes, but I'm a 45yr old grumpy fooker so what do I know?  :crazy2:

It's been like that since the 90's - gets the old seat out the way when you're doing stuff on the bike. You could run without a seat, but then you'd tear yourself a new one if things went wrong (and there's some stuff you need a seat for - no superman seat grabs with no seat ;) )

Its not about a look, its that you ride a bmx stood up mostly - the tilt back on the seat also keeps it out the way for turndowns and easy to grab for seatgrabs.  You dont have to slam it all the way - I run mine about 2" out on my park bike.

PS - I'm a 41yold grumpy fooker  :P my bikes fairly newschool, but I still get grief for riding a standard 'tank'

As Pete says in Ed's post, the BB looks very high so it will feel like you're being thrown forward over the bars alot.

Looks cool but not sure how it'll handle but i'm sure Ed will have a blast with it  :daumenhoch:
