I just don't understand why you have to 'slam' the seat, in my opinion it spoils the whole look of the NS bikes, but I'm a 45yr old grumpy fooker so what do I know?
Its not about a look, its that you ride a bmx stood up mostly - the tilt back on the seat also keeps it out the way for turndowns and easy to grab for seatgrabs. You dont have to slam it all the way - I run mine about 2" out on my park bike.
PS - I'm a 41yold grumpy fooker
my bikes fairly newschool, but I still get grief for riding a standard 'tank'
