S&M's weren't until 1994? But as OD say's - there's loads of types out there.

Also some of 'em aren't that expensive - the GT and Powerlite Profiles you can get on here now and again for £60 - 80

Pretty sure GT Profiles were out in the States in 1991 - in fact have a butchers here at RP's post:

I definitely remember seeing them first in the UK around then

The Powerlites may have been '92 though - can't remember. They still made both well into the 90's, and you could still get the odd pair of Powerlites in the early 2000's in some shops.

Also forgot - don't go on Profile's own crank time-line - it's a bit like 23mag - can be a little bit off
