I've been toying with the idea of making a leather covered Kashi Aero for a while, had a go today, pretty pleased with the results.
I've not got a picture of the seat before, it was used and scuffed but not too worn on the back lip.
I sprayed the top of the seat with adhesive glue, I got this from an upholster's but it's on the bay as well,

I'd bought a black leather remnant from the bay for around £4, this piece had quite heavy graining. I carefully positioned the leather onto the saddle making sure it followed the contours. I got a couple of rubber bands and stretched them around the saddle and let the glue do it's work.
Next I trimmed the leather around the saddle leaving just over a centimetre around the lip, from there I glue the edges and folded in.

The edges will want to peel back up, I used clothes pegs to stick it back down. I did one side then the other. The nose was a bit of a problem as I hadn't left quite enough material but used 3 pegs and it seemed to work ok

Pretty happy with the finished result.
