Probably been asked before, but what is the difference between Spanish and Mid Bottom Brackets or are they the same thing?

a mid bb is the same as the old amreican bb but instead of having cups the bearings press directly into the frame

a spainish bb generally has no cups and the bearings go directly into the frame.this size is halfway between mid and euro

but saying that i do have a spainish bb here with nylon cups
