my mate matti hemmings will be doing a flatland set on the dancefloor, i'll be showing bmx videos from 80's to present (obviously a lot of local footage will be mixed in

such as cardiff ramp room footage , cardiff street in the 90's etc as well as head first etc. prob wont be audio due to the dj's but should be a good night. also be

showing this on display too

if your in south wales and over 18 then come along.

yep. had a great night. a fair few of the old ramp room riders showed up from 86 including Andy Reardon.

ended up riding a little in the demo's to give Matti a breather. a full 20 minute flatland show non stop is gonna be a killer.
my old bikes were set up on stage infront of the dj's.

my 90's hoffman sd4 (latter day big daddy) done up as a retro style neil ruffell replica with more modern parts, pivotal,ad 990's, etc.

and the 1985 haro master. took my modern rider which all have seen in the guise of a haro 88 sport and rode that. even took the orange 'streetbeat lookalike'

on the dancefloor for a quickspin- aint done them in 20 years. need to practice them more.

matti ripping it up on the dancefloor.

we did 2 demos- 11.30 and 12.30am -the first demo was the best. my legs were jelly by the 2nd one and no amount of red bull

the red bull girls gave me was gonna change that. ha.

the cardiff bmx history dvd i did 1986- 2011 went down well too.... already we have been asked about doing it again sometime soon, poss next month.

yep, we been asked to do another couple of demos on thursday 22nd march in buffalo bar cardiff. breakdancers also doing demo's and graffiti artists.

doors open upstairs 10pm, first demo 11.30 ish (i think)
