ound this cw zx  last saturday   in terrible shape
aluminum seatpost  whas stuck in the seat tube  due to corrosion
so i started to drill it out  from the in to the outside
well  That worked good

here is the start


Took all the parts off and cleaned up the frame
i got the decals from del   with speed delivery i think

it looks awesome



Diacompe hinged seatclamp fitted also

Its absolute stunning,   No dropouts  That where eaten away, no rust or what so ever

I had one  a few years ago  and  sold it  :uglystupid2:

Markyp  hit me up with a zs  and last week i found the zx

The cw  maybe not that popular  but i have  some kind of weird weakspot for them

when i went to mk last year i took my zx along,i was talking to another radster who was from up north/midlands(as most are) about cw and he said i dont remember cw bikes from back in the day,only the bars!!i think as i live in the south and only 30 miles from where hot wheels bike shop used to be(they were the uk importer of cw) every kid had one around my way,i think cw was definately a  brand more familiar with us southerners,up north alans bike shop was the main man so they were into their torkers and robinsons,i think this is why the cw's arent very popular :-\

Almost similar  it will be; But now with black alloy hubbed tuffs  and one piece crank  if i cant find  a set of affordable maxi cross crank arms

i know you are a northerner neil but you are reet up north,midlands and lower north seem to have missed the cw radar bitd,cw's look great with flip flops too :LolLolLolLol:

Building plans are:  Black alloy hubbed tuff 2 with  tioga comp 3 tyres
 blackmx 1000 rear brake  and chrome  mx lever
tuff or pro neck chainwheel in black or chrome
chrome cw padset  with orange/red logo
and a zeronine plate
pedals  Black shimano dx

Parts allready used

cw Frame fork and bars
Nos Ame tri bubblefont black
nos Black kashimax aero
nos chrome  dc hinged seatclamp
nos tange headset
nos Gt seatpost
nos gt stem  ( not correct  but will be changed to tuffneck )
Nos  takagi 175mm one piece crank
Nos tange bottombracket
refurbed tuffneck powerdisc
