Lew-ways survivor
« on: March 15, 2012, 10:37 AM »
Finally got round to adding some pics of my Lew-ways Stinger aero, was looking sorry for it's self after being locked away in a container for years.         Does anyone know if these crappy wheel discs where fitted from new, as don't know why any one would want to fit them as an after market product ( they're s##t) . They also match the yellow brake blocks.                                                           After a wash, T-cut, polish with autosol & car polish it came up pretty clean.           The brakes & crank were showing their age as the chrome was flaking.                                                                        the brakes were replaced with MX copies                                                                            Next came the crank, replaced with one as close to the original as possible, I kept the chain ring                                                                                                                              ;D                                                                                     Picked up for £26.00 Badly listed on fleabay, I guess there are still a few bargains to be had.                                                                                                                                           Finally for anyone interested a photo of my MINT 90'S DiamondBack Venom (does have they chain guard , reflectors & stunt pegs but looks better without)

Sweet ride!   :smitten:

Great bargain; I must've missed that one!  :daumenhoch:

I'm a sucker for the cheaper bikes when they've been cleaned up nicely.

They look neat but you don't mind thrashing them around like they should be ridden!  ;D
