Hi,

Does anybody know if you can buy Kenda K55 street BMX tyre's(20x1.75) in the UK? They look very similar to Panaracer freestyle tyre's(black/tan walls), i've found them on Ebay, but they all seem to be in the States.

Any help much appreciated

you can only get em on US ebay as far as i know but they are still well cheap including post.Retrodan72 has them on a cople of his builds i think,they look ace!

Sorry lads, the guy only has 1 left, will be good on Kappy's unicycle.

They were bargains as you say, £26.50 a pair inc postage, I bought 2 sets this month, one for my Performer but I let Steve Firebird have the other set yesterday.

I may give the seller a buzz, see if he's getting any more.

The seller just messaged me back saying they're not planning on getting anymore in.

Then I found another seller, but he don't ship Internationally.

thats really rubbish!!surely the fact that he sold out this time indicates there is demand!seem to be plenty of bike shops sell kenda tyres,must be able to get them here!i'll ask at my LBS as i know they sell kenda.Ill try and get them to get a few in!

The Kenda K55 tyres are back in stock on US Ebay, just bought 2 Pair's(£55.50 all in shipped)

Sadly that leaves the 1 tyre left in the listing

(why the odd number i wonder),there is another seller, but his Int. shipping is bloody steep!!

I know yeah,they did make them in white but they work out to be around £60 a pair plus postage from germany. Id still like to get them but 60 for kendas seems a bit high for me at the mo

That's still not bad as there are little alternatives as pork chop doesn't seem to do his comp st repops in white anymore.The only other reasonably priced alternative if you want nice white tanwall freestyle tyres in 1.75 are the Odyssey Freqeuncy G flatland tyre at around 25 quid a pop.new skool but fine for a rider.My mate has just bought a set for his beat and they look ace!
