Help required for new school novice-bikes/brands
« on: September 08, 2012, 09:23 PM »
Hi chaps,
have been asked to get some info from you nu skool radsters.  :4_17_5:
I need to get my nephew ( aged 8) a complete bmx bike and will have around £150-200 to spend, I know there are some sales on  at the mo. I need a bike for ramps ideally but I like the idea of having pegs/rotor/ potts mod for some flatland tricks too. I've seen a Haro and a Mongoose for the right prices but what are they like these days? am I better going for Sunday or some other newer brand ?
Would really appreciate your time and input guys  :smitten:

regards Antony

150 notes wont buy you anything worth having brand new  :'(
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

This is about as good as will get brand new for your budget unless you get lucky on a deal

Thanks for your time and efforts guys.. :smitten: :smitten:
......maybe second hand is a better idea but you know what bloody kids are like these days if its second hand they throw a bloody strop :2gunsfiring_v1:

I'll convince them to stretch to £200....the link was very useful......any more good links like that ?

also  what about a £200 Haro or Mongoose then.....are they as bad as I imagine then given the lack of feedback ?

cheers again radsters...keep your info coming its really appreciated 8)
