Did profile make black cranks in 91/92 or just chrome?

Chrome only back then, but twas the time of fook it and fix it, so paint em black Think Redlines came in black or chrome back then?

Yeah - suggested GT already but them there Profiles were a bargain

Profile stamped Profiles are 1994+ (although there seems to be conflicting info over on the Museum that they came out 1993 - don't remember seeing them in '93 meself), with the old GT, Powerlite (and one other brand stamped - can't remember which brand though) 90/91ish.

No stamp Profiles though deffo around then

I got the SS's about 6 months before they came over here through friends at Hot Wheels

I have some ss dirt jump ones on my sheffield, loverlyyyy

I also have some black ones with the white stripe, can't recall what they called them, but I think it was the dragstrip? Circa 2003

Profile do from time to time some one off colour schemes, I think currently they are offering metallic

I got the SS's about 6 months before they came over here through friends at Hot Wheels

so if we say stamped profiles came out on say the 1st jan 1993 and I might av got the a couple of weeks early they would been in 1992  that will do me!

err no olly they were out in mid to late 93

but the way i look at it is that you could have upgraded from a 1pc to 3 pc crank within a year of buying the frame new so then u would have stamped cranks

just because a part wasnt around when you bought a frame dosent mean it didnt get used on said frame when the part did come out

personally i go by 6 months ethier way as a guide
