43.5/16 on a 20...closest is 34/15 on a cruiser
As a general rule, Front teeth no. divided by rear teeth no. multiplied by wheelsize (whatever you are calculating, I.e 20 24 26...whatever) EG 44/16 x 20 = 55 (the magic no)43.5/16 x 20 = 54.3734/15 x 24 = 54.39 ...... badabing

Gregster, slap a 39 tooth on the front, get the tyres pumped up to a good pressure, get the bars to an angle and height to suit you and all will be fine. A 39:17 will not feel too high for riding on the roads and paths, and will be fine for track use
52/23 is an often overlooked ratio and is nearly what you need
