What’s the difference  ???

Apart from the bearing dimensions   :-\
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

Just the bearing dimensions Pete :) Same setup as the Mid.

Looking at your chain pic your bike might have a spanish bb with mid size cups, the bottom bracket shell might not be machined internally to accept mid bearing on their own

If you're thinking of changing the cranks?

Does look a bit like there's cups in there - only one way to see - lets have a piccy of the non-drive side :)

When my new ones turn up if anyone has a kid who wants a set of chrome 175 cranks they can have em  :daumenhoch:

39 will do Bru, but a 38 will be pretty much the same as 44/16 on a bmx  :daumenhoch:

I've got some 26" MTB tyres you can have, and tubes, might want a puncture fixing. postage only.

what sort of bars? got some braced MTB ones and some suspension forks, again, post cost only.

and grips....
