Vincent Freestyler help and info needed
« on: June 14, 2006, 06:41 PM »
I plan to restore this to show condition either with a rechrome or paint if it came in any colours

Has anyone got any info, pictures or scans, etc of any Vincent Freestyler bikes, frames, forks and decals. Absolutely anything would be a great help to me

Thanks

bodamus  :daumenhoch:

Hi Mate. Well done on winning it on the bay. I would have challenged you if it had the right forks and bars ;D Give me a call some time one evening on 07977 490351. I had all the prototype frames and bars after they finished testing them when I was a kid. If only I still had them :'(. I was friends with Paul Hudson so ended up having 4 of them and snapped every one >:( >:( >:( I think I can tell you everyting you need to know. Cheers Dave ;)

Only one ever exsisted along with matching bars. It was very simular but, the rear platform loop was not kicked up and it went to a point just like the front instead of a loop. It never had built in rear pegs either. Some where over my parents is a photo of it, I will see if I can dig it out. Cheers Dave ;)

As far as I am aware it was Bernie Vincent and Paul Hudson that designed the first 3 generations of frame and it was Stuart 'Pepe' Winder that had a helping hand in the 4th, the Airzone.Cheers Dave ;)

Yep, as far as I can remember I have never even spoke to Bernie Vincent let alone helped to design a F/F , having said that I swore that I`d never been to Southsea Skatepark untill someone put some pics up of me riding there in 1984  :crazy2:
